This website

This website has no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, account registration, or contact forms. It does not ask you to submit personal information.

The service hosting the website may process standard request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver pages. That service's practices depend on the hosting provider used for deployment.

Camera use in the app

The PageFlick beta uses camera access to recognise a finger gesture. Apple's Vision framework analyses frames on your device. PageFlick does not record or upload video.

The camera runs only while a book or the practice view is active and tracking is enabled. You can decline camera permission and use the on-screen reading controls.

Books, reading positions, and settings

The app stores imported EPUBs and reading positions locally. It also stores preferences and a device identifier used to distinguish each device's reading position.

Its iCloud implementation stores books and per-device reading positions in your private CloudKit database. This is separate from camera processing. Cross-device sync is still being tested in the beta.

Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple's privacy policy.
